Terms of Service
Contract terms governing all Mountainbea bookings, payments, and expedition participation.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, paying, or joining a Mountainbea expedition, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Liability Waiver, and Cancellation Policy.
2. Eligibility to Participate
Participants must provide accurate personal details, emergency contacts, and health disclosures. We may require age or fitness verification for high-altitude and technical routes.
3. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after required advance payment is received and verification details are complete. Temporary holds or verbal confirmations are not treated as guaranteed slots.
4. Pricing and Inclusions
Trip pricing covers only the inclusions listed in your selected itinerary. Costs caused by personal upgrades, optional experiences, medical incidents, route diversions, or force-majeure events are excluded unless expressly stated.
5. Participant Conduct and Safety Compliance
You must follow guide instructions, convoy protocols, local regulations, and safety equipment rules at all times. Unsafe behavior, intoxication during operations, or refusal to comply may result in removal without refund.
6. Assumption of Environmental and Route Risk
Mountain, desert, and remote routes involve risks including altitude effects, weather disruption, road hazards, and delayed access to medical services. Participation confirms acknowledgement of these conditions.
7. Itinerary and Operational Changes
Mountainbea may revise route order, accommodation category, activity schedule, start times, or transport assignments when required by weather, terrain, permits, vehicle condition, safety, or operational feasibility.
8. Third-Party Services
Certain services may be delivered by local operators, hotels, transport vendors, or activity partners. While we select partners carefully, service continuity is subject to partner performance and regional conditions.
9. Intellectual Property and Website Use
All website content, expedition media, logos, and branding are owned by or licensed to Mountainbea. Reproduction, commercial reuse, or distribution without written permission is prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Mountainbea is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from expedition participation, delays, weather disruptions, or third-party service interruptions.
11. Termination and Account Restrictions
We may suspend or terminate participation where fraud, abuse, policy violations, or safety risks are identified. Outstanding dues, damage recovery, or legal obligations remain enforceable after termination.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by applicable laws in the region where the booking entity operates, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Parties should attempt good-faith resolution before legal escalation.
