Itinerary
Day 1: LEH ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATIZATION DAY
Morning: Arrival at Leh Airport. Our team will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in and relax to start the acclimatization process at high altitude. Afternoon: Spend the day resting at the hotel. Light walking around the hotel area is recommended to help your body adjust to the altitude. Evening/Night: Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. Tour briefing by the captain and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Morning: After breakfast, begin the Leh sightseeing tour. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace while enjoying panoramic views of the Leh city and surrounding mountains. Afternoon: Continue the journey toward Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Indus–Zanskar River Confluence), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Spituk Monastery. Evening/Night: Return to Leh and explore Leh Market for shopping and local cafés. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA PASS
Morning: After breakfast, start the ride toward Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Afternoon: Descend into Nubra Valley and reach Hunder Village. Explore the famous white sand dunes and enjoy the double-hump Bactrian camel ride. Evening/Night: Check-in to the camp/hotel in Nubra Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 4: NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE
Morning: After breakfast, depart from Nubra Valley toward Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route. Afternoon: Arrive at Pangong Lake and witness the stunning colors of the lake surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. Evening/Night: Enjoy sunset views at Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at lakeside camps.
Day 5: PANGONG LAKE TO LEH VIA CHANG LA PASS
Morning: Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, start the ride back to Leh via Chang La Pass. Afternoon: Visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and SECMOL (the famous 3 Idiots school) on the way back to Leh. Evening/Night: Reach Leh and spend the evening exploring Leh Market. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: DEPARTURE FROM LEH
Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Tour concludes with unforgettable memories of the Ladakh expedition. End of the Leh Ladakh adventure with MountainBea Expedition.
